Once, during sprints, my foot flew out of the strap and off the pedal while my other foot kept going. It caused quite a ruckus.<br /><br />You said riding clipless is effortless? I wrecked my ankle on the crank arm. It's still embarrassing. <br /><br />Riding clipless is effortless once you get over the learning curve. I put them on my bike and forced myself to learn by riding through traffic. If I fell I would get run over - so I opted not to bite it.
